Website terms of use

Effective and last updated: 12 October 2026

These terms are a binding agreement between Go MatiQ Inc., a Delaware corporation operating the MatiQ consulting brand (“MatiQ”), and each person or organization accessing matiqinc.com (“User”). They govern User’s access to and use of matiqinc.com, including its articles, downloads, inquiry forms and other public resources. By using the site, User agrees to these terms. A person who does not agree must not use the site.

1. What the site provides

The site provides general information about MatiQ’s technology consulting, engineering, digital transformation and training services. Site content is informational. It is not legal, financial, accounting, security or other professional advice for User’s circumstances and is not a promise of a particular result.

Sending an inquiry, downloading a resource or discussing possible work does not create a client, fiduciary, partnership or agency relationship. Services begin only under a separate agreement signed by the parties. A signed master services agreement, statement of work, nondisclosure agreement or similar contract controls if it conflicts with these terms concerning an engagement.

2. Permitted use

User may view the site, print or save reasonable excerpts for internal business reference, share links and contact MatiQ about possible work. Any permission MatiQ grants is limited, revocable, non-exclusive and may not be transferred.

3. Prohibited use

User may not:

4. User submissions

User retains ownership of information User submits. User grants MatiQ a limited right to host, use, reproduce and share it with MatiQ’s service providers as reasonably necessary to receive and respond to the submission, secure the site, comply with law and evaluate possible work. User represents that User has the right to provide the information and that it is accurate to the best of User’s knowledge.

Do not send trade secrets, credentials, regulated records or other sensitive material through a general inquiry unless MatiQ has established an appropriate protected channel and confidentiality terms.

5. Intellectual property

The site, its design, text, graphics, software, methods, trademarks and other content are owned by MatiQ or its licensors and are protected by law. MatiQ and related marks may not be used in a way that suggests sponsorship or endorsement without written permission. No right is granted except the limited permission stated in these terms.

If User voluntarily provides feedback about the site or MatiQ’s services, User permits MatiQ to use it without restriction or compensation. This does not give MatiQ ownership of User’s confidential information or materials created under a client agreement.

6. Third-party services and links

The site may link to third-party websites or use providers that MatiQ does not control. Their terms and privacy practices apply to their services. A link does not mean that MatiQ endorses all content or practices of the destination.

7. Site availability and changes

MatiQ may update, suspend or discontinue all or part of the site. MatiQ does not promise that the site will always be available, secure or error-free, or that every statement will remain current. Service descriptions, examples, timing and potential outcomes are illustrative until included in a signed agreement.

8. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” MatiQ disclaims all express, implied and statutory warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to User.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MatiQ and its directors, officers, employees and providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunity, arising from the site. MatiQ’s total liability arising from the site will not exceed $100.00. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited.

Liability connected to a consulting or training engagement is governed by the signed agreement for that engagement, not this section.

10. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, User will defend and indemnify MatiQ against a third-party claim arising from User’s unlawful use of the site, User’s submission, or User’s material breach of these terms. User is not required to indemnify MatiQ for MatiQ’s own negligence, willful misconduct or violation of law.

11. Governing law and disputes

Minnesota law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, each party will give the other written notice and make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute for thirty (30) days. Any claim not resolved informally and not governed by a separate signed agreement must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Hennepin County, Minnesota. Each party consents to those courts' jurisdiction and venue.

12. General terms

These terms and the privacy policy are the entire agreement about use of the site. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. A failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. User may not assign these terms without MatiQ’s written consent. MatiQ may assign them as part of a merger, reorganization or transfer of the site or business. Headings are for convenience only.

13. Changes to these terms

MatiQ may update these terms by posting a revised version and changing the last-updated date. Changes apply prospectively. MatiQ will provide additional notice when required by law. User’s continued use after the effective date means User accepts the updated terms.
